Most business websites are stuffed with tracking. Ours isn't. This page explains exactly what this site does and doesn't store on your device, and how to stay in control of it.
Cookies are small text files that a website asks your browser to store on your computer, tablet or phone. They're used for things like remembering that you're logged in, keeping a shopping basket between pages, or, on many sites, following you around the internet to serve you adverts.
Similar technologies such as local storage, session storage and tracking pixels do much the same job. Where this policy says "cookies", it covers those too.
We sell IT security for a living, so it would be a poor look to run a website that quietly harvests visitor data. We've deliberately built this site to work without tracking:
Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), consent is required before setting any cookie that isn't strictly necessary. We don't set any, so there's nothing to ask you about.
One category remains: cookies that are strictly necessary to deliver the site securely. This website is served through Cloudflare, which protects it from attack and from automated abuse. If Cloudflare needs to verify that a visitor is a person rather than a bot, it may set the following.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
| __cf_bm | Cloudflare | Bot management. Distinguishes human visitors from automated traffic so the site stays available. | 30 minutes |
| cf_clearance | Cloudflare | Records that a security challenge has been passed, so you're not asked repeatedly. | Up to 1 year |
These are classed as strictly necessary. They carry no advertising identifier, and they're not used to profile you or build a picture of your interests. Cloudflare's own privacy information is at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
A couple of services are involved in loading this site. Neither of them sets a tracking cookie, but both see your IP address, because that's how the internet delivers a file to you.
| Service | What it does | Cookies? |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare | Hosts and protects the site, and provides anonymous, aggregated visitor statistics | Security cookies only, as above |
| Google Fonts | Serves the Inter typeface used across the site | None. Google receives your IP address when the font loads |
| Web3Forms | Delivers your enquiry form submission to our inbox | None. It only receives what you type and send |
You're always in charge. Every modern browser lets you block or delete cookies, and you can usually find the controls under Settings, then Privacy.
Blocking the strictly necessary cookies listed above won't break this site, though you may see a security check more often than you otherwise would. Blocking cookies globally will affect many other sites you use, so it's worth being deliberate about it.
Browsers also offer a "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signal. Since we don't track visitors in the first place, there's nothing for it to switch off here.
If we ever add analytics or any other non-essential cookie to this site, we'll update this page first and ask for your consent before anything is set. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
How we handle personal data more generally, including your rights under UK GDPR, is set out in our Privacy Policy.
